Happening Now! … #IPMResponds - Weekly Virtual Forum featuring a Kenya centric COVID-19 update from our Project Partners at Watoto wa Lwanga in Kibera, KENYA.

As one of IPM’s most inspiring Project Partners, Jacinta Wairimu Kiarie, Program Director, will speak to us about their remarkable work with street children, vulnerable youth, and marginalized individuals in Kibera, a slum of Nairobi, Kenya, with the aim of empowering their communities through education to achieve socio economic empowerment and eradicate poverty, along with the ongoing challenges resulting from the global pandemic.

This continues a series of weekly Virtual Forums with IPM Community and Project Partners, members of our International Executive Board, Staff Leadership Team, and select other volunteers, donors, and friends for an hour long discussion of how, together with your support, IPM is responding to the COVID-19 pandemic and other vital challenges facing our world including migration, climate change, the struggle for racial equity, and particularly the rights for women and girls.

Happening Now! … #IPMResponds - Weekly Virtual Forum featuring one of IPM’s most inspiring Project Partners, Patronato Lidia Coggiola in El Salvador providing a closer look at their challenges, resiliency and extraordinary work during the pandemic.

An IPM Partner since 2003, this remarkable school is a pillar of the El Zaite community and its work throughout time has developed many critical and inspirational leaders. In this forum, the beneficiaries and participants of their various programs will share the impact that COVID-19 has had on their work with children, women, and youth, as well as the many ways they have overcome obstacles to continue their labor in the path to social change.
