Indigenous Mission & Academy

Project Overview:

Indigenous Mission & Academy (Manipur, INDIA) provides outreach to children near Manipur Hill Village, providing medical check-ups and sponsoring the education and medical care of low-income children.  The project also provides HIV/AIDS awareness seminars to people of the village.  Recently, the project has been promoting environmental justice issues and helping the community organize to get clean drinking water.  The project has also trained religious leaders in several areas, including counseling & conflict management, and church administration and leadership.
