IPM Named Funds

In celebration of IPM's 30th Anniversary year, the creation of The Jim & Sammy Mayer Fund to support Education & Outreach activities was announced at IPM's 30th Anniversary Celebration on May 8, 2004.  Though Jim & Paul Strege were the official founders of IPM, their spouses played an essential role in developing, sustaining, and supporting the mission.  Jim passed away on March 5, 1984, far too early in his life.  Sammy remains committed to IPM's work 24 years later, having served as a member of both the IPM Board of Directors and the Metropolitan St. Louis Advisory Council.  In 2008, Sammy was named as the first Director Emeritus of IPM, along with Paul Strege.  IPM's Board of Directors approved the creation of The Jim & Sammy Mayer Fund as a way to recognize the vision and incredible dedication both Jim and Sammy have given IPM over the years.
